65 gallon with 175 gph canister filter and a 950gph circulation pump 2 inches of gravel per the wife's wishes and 15lbs of live rock

Might add 40 lbs of sand and remove some gravel this weekend

Ohhhh yeah, you've gotta get a crapload of rock. At the minimum, 30-40 pounds would work. Also, I wouldn't get anymore "decor" cause the stuff usually fluctuates stuff like pH and hardness--I.e. Gravel, colored ceramic, anything from petco or petsmart, etcetera. Hate to break it to ya, but this ain't a freshwater tank...

I mean, reef stuff usually--I say this tentatively--comes from pristine environments, so by logic, it would be best to only include in the tank what would be found in said environments. Dyes and artificial stuff will only make it look worse in the long run, and have worse benefits than visual appeal currently may have. Rock is a filter, and a structure.

Right on i will get some more rock this week. Will also get rid of colored stone and replace with sand

Picked up 45 lbs of rock got rid of the gravel and " decors " just letting it cycle now. Never did figure out what the white stuff was . Just took it out with the gravel. Found a good lfs in Syracuse. And will not return to pet co again... ever.

Eh, I do for my parents dogs when not at my dorm. And for supplements and food, every couple of months.

All hhs are 1/4 to 1/2 inch in size and yea lucky indeed no idea on the star. Oh and thats 3 stars not one haha also one lawnmower bleeny. Lb is 3inches. Pics to fallow soon. They are all in hiding as of right now haha.
