White tips on pink Cadillac

about a week or so ago I noticed the tips of my pink Cadillac frag turning white, I’m not sure if this is new growth or alk burn or something else?
all test are done with salifert. Tank is 120g 20 gallon sump
par is 350ish for said coral (seneye)
no3 2.5ppm
dkh 8.4
po4 0.03
ph 8.15
calcium 440 (Red Sea)
mag 1500ish (Red Sea)
alk doesn’t fluctuate all that much, I’m running a calcium reactor.
I did use aggressive dosing of phosphate e to drop po4 from .1 to .03 over the course of 3 days. I was running high capacity gfo (3/4 cup) and carbon, the effluent goes into a filter sock, I rinse gfo and carbon with tank water until it’s clean and replace with new salt water. I took the gfo offline and did another round of phosphate e today, I noticed the po4 climbed near .1.
1 gallon daily water changes. When I skip daily water changes I dose Red Sea reef colours a,b,c,d 1ml of each, every other day dose aminos.
i was carbon dosing with vinegar 150mls/day I’ve cut back to 50ml and today didn’t dose anything. I’m having a little cyano outbreak. I’ve encountered once before and stopped dosing and the cyano went away.
no other corals are showing this.

Looks like growth to me. All the other corals look good. If you think it’s possibly getting too much light just move it to the bottom.

Thanks, I originally thought this was new growth, I tried googling and started convincing myself it was something else. I thought it would be best to make a thread and ask.

I wouldn't be concerned about those spots at this point, unless that's recession I see near the base. And it's new recession.

Pink Caddy does get fairly white growth tips, but I can't tell from the picture if its growth or bare skeleton. A clearer picture would be helpful. It should be fairly obvious in person to the eye if there is still tissue on the tip or if its dead skeleton.
