So my Tangs just came out of quarantine after 78 days of the main tank being fallow for ich. They were treated with ~2.5ppm of copper the whole duration with nitrofurazone in the water as well.

I'm running carbon and GFO in a filter bag on my ReefMat fleece roller.

I noticed white wrinkly skin around the eyes, nose and back of my yellow tang. The gem tang has some white on him as well but this might just be his coloring and\or stress.

Here are some pics:

Is this hole in the head disease? Should I change something or treat in some way?

Yes - that’s HLLE. Pretty minor so far. Avoid carbon use and maintain good water quality and diet. It may reverse when you move them to the DT.

HLLE and often associated with poor water quality and diet
Diet that lacks fats and vitamins and aminos and water elevated ammonia and or nitrate, Assure in safe range and that you are using a reliable test kit.
Some foods to offer are:
-Spirulina brine shrimp
- LRS Herbivore diet
- mysis shrimp
- small plankton
- Nori seaweed basted with garlic extract
- Hikari Marine cuisine
- Formula 2 flake and frozen
- Hikari veggie marine

Add selcon vitamins to the foods 2-3X per week and on alternating days, garlic extract for stamina and immunity health
