Here is my toadstool, maybe you guys can tell me if it's a true weeping willow or not, this is the one from Ali (or so that's where the lineage is said to come from)
Looks like it! If you don't mind, how much did you pay for a frag of it?

I bought mine from an fish store in North Hollywood CA, I bought it a little over a year ago at this point for $150, but it was not a frag, it was maybe half the size of what it is now but it was still pretty big, the top of it was about 5 inches in diameter. I got lucky!

Everyone has been asking me to frag it and you guys are convincing me. I'm just scared to frag it because I would want to give it an infection, so I'll be looking into it much more now!

Their real easy to frag and I. Yet to see anything bad but iodine will really make it avoid any problems

I know a seller that has true weeping willow frags from Asia. The only catch is that he wants $450 a frag lol. I can't possibly justify spending half a grand on a small soft coral frag. Anyways they're popular in Korea. Reefbuilders is not the only one who has this strain, it's funny how he gatekeeps the term 'weeping willow'.

Connect with me I want one LOL

lol who doesn't! I think I might just bite the bullet and buy one from the seller. I haven't seen it in person yet, for all I know it could be a regular long polyp toad. But if it is exceptional I'll probably buy it

Isn’t weeping willow white/brown though?

I have a green one that is very long. Short green one behind it.

Dirty glass sorry.

I hope no one actually pays that ridiculous price. I have the same one and was given a frag for free. Here in Canada those go for like $100 CAD or less

huh, they are the same coral... it just got big. I would call it a long polyp green toady.

The one in the back is a normal toad, much shorter polyps, about 1/2 inch... front one is about 3 inches for the longest polyps in the center.

I have a japanese leather. I'm not sure if it's weeping or not though. The difference I see is that the skin of the leather is a bright green and a regular toadstool only had green polyps.
