Hello all! I’m working on a new build as my return to the hobby after 15+ years. Trying to plan this all right the first time... who here is using a Stenner pump to do AWC? What size did you use? They have 6gpd all the way up to 100gpd... I plan to do a continuous water change of a few gallons daily so my question is should I get a 70gpd and have it run a few min per hr to split up the amount I’m aiming for OR get a lower flow pump and let it run longer durations?
I was thinking of going with the 70 that way if I needed to do a larger water change I could manually turn it on and let it run several hrs but use a timed outlet to otherwise turn it on and off for a few min per hr? Is this the best setup or is running more continuously better?
Thanks!
