We are planning on coming, wondering if there might be a snow date?

We are playing it by ear at this point. Hopefully in the next day or so the storm either gets delayed or downgraded. Unfortunately next Sunday is Easter so that won't be an option.

We just came home and eat all the food out of the little cubes. Extremely tasty!! Lol

Thanks again Nichole and Mike for getting all the materials and showing us how to make our own food blend!

Heard you guys rocked it! Any chance you could post the recipe for those of us who couldn't make it?

We used scallops, clam, oysters, squid, cod, and shrimp from the seafood department.

Rod's mixed seaweed pack. Some cobalt veggie flake. Rod's Roe.
Mysis. Blood Worms. Krill. Frozen Rotifers. Reef Plankton.

Fresh Garlic and some brightwell Vitamin C.

Thawed my first cube yesterday and it was enjoyed by all! Seemed very similar to Rods when it comes to particle size, which I like because it seems like all the fish get their fair share. Usually when I feed just frozen shrimp I have a few gluttons that seem to get the majority.

That is the beauty of making the food yourself. You can control how chunky you want it. Like those other big named foods it is filled with quality ingredients....at a fraction of the cost.

Looking back to your reefing roots: Did you start with Instant Ocean salt?
