REEF2REEF is an amazing and friendly site... And everyone can read and learn about others successes and failures with their tanks and hopefully prevent someone else from going through the same thing...definitely an awesome site to join! :)

Did my post count idk if my link went directly to the coral, or if that even matters? Thanks for this contest!

I think people should join Reef2Reef because of all the great giveaway and everybody here is so helpful and there are like millions of experienced people on here that will give you and especiLy beginners great advice on how to keep any kind of reef tank up and running.!!:);)

This is a coral I would love to have in my tank but unfortunately way out of my budget for coral lol!! I usually get frags.

updated tank thread with new pix

I think the best reasons for new members to join the Reef2Reef community revolve foremost around the community itself - a community that is passionate, knowledgeable, quirky, understanding, generous and willing to have a sense of humor about itself. I have found this community to be an excellent resource, providing an exceptional breadth and depth of insight from noob questions through much more complex conversations about water chemistry and advanced aqua-husbandry. This community has been invaluable in helping my wife and I get our tank on track after an overly hasty start up and is one of the few sites I generally visit daily. Great members, phenomenal insight, wealth of knowledge - how many reasons do you need? :)

as for a sponsor's coral I am lusting after - wow - seriously? I am supposed to narrow it down to one? As it is, I am already a bit skeered about how much trouble we are going to get into at the upcoming MTRC frag swap...

I really like the Black Hole Sun zoas from MyFrags.com...

Sponsers page is under construction? Not sure how I am to review and post to that part of the rules

I
have been reefing on and off for like 6 years. In that time, I have figured out that a knowledgeable forum with polite members are invaluable to keeping my tank running smoothly and looking its best. I love reading this forum, and some of my favorite features are the photo of the day and the fish of the day. Also, the contests are great. I have entered many, but haven't won...yet! The sponsors on this site are very generous as well. The only downside I can see is that my standards for what I want my coral and tank to look like have soared since browsing this site...Ok it's only a downside for my wallet! The nicest stuff out there seems to come through Reef2Reef.

If I could have any coral from a sponsor, I would choose any of these:

Here's my tank :peace: https://www.reef2reef.com/forums/large-aquariums-180g/115388-my-custom-180-a.html#post1292980

The real question is why wouldn't you join R2R? Staff is awesome! You get the joy of trying to figure out what a Revhtree is. Fastest growing reef forum on the net, don't treat you like scum like those "other" guys. They have awesome giveaways all the time. They fully support local reef clubs, and the best part all for free!:xd:

I have my eye on this monti from Exotic Frags... ExoticFrags.us - SPS :: Orenji Monti
