why cant i Keep Macros alive?

I have a issue with keeping Macroalgaes alive in my fuge...I seriously doubt it from lack of nutrients...All my water is spot on..any thoughts?

what type of light are you using on the macro?

using a 36" 1 t5 39w..i had 2 of them but one stopped working...The fuge also get some lighting from my main display, but not sure how much.. Think that may be a issue??...should i get 2 home depot lights ( the kind off Melves reef)
