Right now, 2 Reefbright XHO, 2 Actinic T5 and 2 Blue Plus T5 hung about 2ft off the surface (Canopy mounted on the wall with brackets) over a 2ft x 4ft tank. I just set up a couple IMs and plan on moving my softies over to those and most of my LPS. Once I do that I have a pair of Ecotech XR30 pro that I will probably add when I switch that tank over to mostly Acropora.
That is pretty impressive gotta say. Mine is certainly the slowest grower in my tanks. Nothing special on color either.

I feel like I'm getting good growth out of it. I don't have that many Acropora but it's my fastest growing one.
Wow very nice man

I have plenty JF HW Colonies in my tank. It's a fast grower for me and always a stunning piece. Here's a quick mini-colony from a frag that went on a growth spurt (under mostly white lighting). 15+ branches, I may have to post for sale before it becomes too big to ship.

Iv seen the mother at Jason’s house and it was truly amazing! Blew all the tenuis out of the water especially the wd perfectly colored. It was so bright pink it looked fake. It’s all about the lighting and this particular coral seems like it colors best under MH lighting. Iv seen tons of colonies that are more green but the HW is a full rainbow tenuis.

Na bro my visit was before he acquired the Sunday driver…. Unless he was hiding it in the upstairs tank LOL at that time I got the second or third cut of his solar flare so it was a long time ago, shortly after HW was released after rap nyc

“Tankwrecker pulsing Xenia variant” or, any/all zoanthids that made to my main rockwork for that matter!!! Used to be in awe back in the day, now they look like weeds covering my beautifully thought out and EXPENSIVE garden! AND, they’re simply IMPOSSIBLE to fully eradicate 😡

They are a great coral in the right lightning.
Totally agree!! I made my little stupid joke about Xenia n zoas n forgot to actually respond about the HW. It’s certainly a gorgeous coral, n I think one of the very few (possibly the only) designer Tenuis that still looks pretty great wo heavy blues. Tho, I’ll be completely honest…can’t remember if it was the HW I saw that looked great in true daylight. Pretty sure it was tho. Also, I say all this as I have a few, all under radion xr30 g6 blues w reefbrite t5 supp fixtures using ATI blue plus, coral plus n actinics, 🤣🤣 so, i personally love them under pretty heavy blues. 😜😍🤩

P.s. urs is gorgeous!! Great picture!! 🔥

I think quite a few tenuis look good in daylight. It's more about expectations vs. reality. Most people see the hypersaturated photos of vendors and then believe they'll see that with their eyes. That is not how I frame it in my mind, so I'm not disappointed by my corals coloration.
