Hello everyone. Im new around here and also new at reefing. I apologize in advance if I’m posting in the wrong place or if this question has already been asked. I have a 2-month-old 77-liter reef tank, in which I keep 5 fish, some corals, and this BBT anemone. I’ve noticed that it retracts in a very strange way, curling into itself several times a day. This has concerned me due to how frequently this behavior occurs. I will be posting some photos and, if possible, a timelapse video showing the behavior that I managed to capture. Note that it inflates significantly in the area where its tentacles begin, even looking like it might burst.

My parameters are:
0 Ammonia
0 Nitrite
5 Nitrate
1025 Salinity
0.6 Phosphate
400 CA
1400 MG
6 KH
8 PH

I hadn’t thought about that. To clarify, I have two clownfish, one fridmani, one bicolor blenny, and one bicolor damsel. What seems strange to me is that they never get close to the anemone. In fact, my clownfish still haven’t formed a symbiosis, so I ruled out that possibility. Oh, another thing I forgot to mention is the temperature, which is always between 77 and 78°F. I believe this parameter is ideal for it, so I also ruled out this possibility.
