I’ve had this bubble tip anemone for around 3-4 weeks now. It footed itself right away as soon as I put it in, and it’s been in the same spot ever since. It has been doing really well, and looked great. I’ve directly fed it a couple times and it was very responsive and grabbed the food. Yesterday night it was very small and shrunken up, a little more than it usually is at night. Then today it seemed not as open and full as usual, and again at night it’s super small. Is it dying?

It might just be digesting, I don’t have too much info about nems. @OrionN might be able to help.

I noticed it would shrink up a lot while digesting, my worry was it didn’t shrink this much. It was like 2-3 inches wide and now it’s about 1.

Often when they do this, its due to too much light and/or water flow. Additionally, assure the Phosphate level is not elevated.

I haven’t changed the lighting or water flow in the tank. Also, I ordered a phosphate testing kit earlier this week, so hoping to get it soon and then will test it.
