I have or had a massive colony of a purplish greenish frogspawn, but pieces just keep falling off of it. I accidentally nudged it very slightly and a piece of 3 heads came right off.

I have 4 different spots of this same coral specimen. Could high nutrients be my problem? I have been trying to lower them for a couple of months now, but going on vacation did not help.

Test results: (Taken today)

AlK: 7.5dkh
Mag:420ppm
Cal:400ppm
PO3: 39ppm
PO4: 0.50

I cannot be sure, but in my experience in my early days, I had the same issue and it was due to my calcium levels. Even though you are at 400, tests have a margin of error.... Try to get values to 450 range (slowly) and see what happens over time.

Alright, thanks I will try to slowly increase my calcium. Hopefully that will help.
