Companies stop carrying items for a multitude of reasons. One being they don’t sell and shelf space is at a premium. Having a bunch of money tied up inventory that doesn’t move is a recipe for disaster.

It’s not discontinued. That just means brs isn’t carrying it anymore

My guess is because it was $600+ and not selling

While I have not personally used it, my recommendation for most folks wanting to measure PAR is to use the VBR-Aqua IP68 PAR Meter, which is far less expensive and appears to do pretty well in tests.

Thanks for the recommendation. I was going to rent one but these have good reviews and are barely more expensive then renting one from BRS.

BRS has stopped carrying many products that are manufactured by companies not owned by Aperture. Maybe Apogee is the next to disappear from their site?

Look at other places. Brs has been removing competitors to thier brands

Nope and hasn’t logged in here Since at least October. And he didn’t say anything when he logged in that day. Last I heard felt them was sept (I think)

My local reef club has a couple of PAR meters available for club members to borrow with a small deposit to ensure return - yours may as well, if you have one close by.

Unfortunately, the Memphis area doesn't have a vibrant reef community. I used to be a member of the Atlanta Reef Club when I lived in Birmingham and loved it. Wish they had something similar in Memphis. But the price on Amazon is affordable so I'll likely order one soon.
