wierd behavior

so i just saw a little bit of weird behavior, i know clowns are usually goofy little guys but this confused me, i know males will have siezures or spastic shaking to show the female she's dominant, well my clowns have been together for 6 months now and have been pairing up but i look over and i see the female and the male both shaking first the female then the male, is this part of the mating?

The posture exhibited by your clowns is a courtship behavior referred to as "leaning" by Gerald Allen in his book Anemonefishes, and is commonly associated with the violent wiggling you mentioned. This behavior, along with several others (mate chasing, substrate biting, etc.) are common pre-spawn behaviors. These behaviors are also exhibited by younger fish as they are forming or maintaining their bond as a pair (sometimes long before they are sexually mature). Do you know how old your fish are?

no not sure, all i know is they are tank bred true percs, and iv had them for about 6 months, and im guessing they were 4 months or older from the lfs
