during feedings my clarkii will eat then she starts grabbing food and stashing it in my large gsp colony. both my clarkii and know my oce clown are displaying this behavior and was wondering why they are doing this. any input would be helpful. clarkii is around 3" oce is around 1.5" not sure if its some sort of pre breeding thing or not

They feed their anemones so it's just feeding its host like it naturally would but its host is the gsp not a nem.

Are you sure you have Clarkii clownfish? My friend has similar fish that were behaving in much the same way. They look just like Clarkii, but they are not. They are actually called Sea Squirrels. Every couple of of months they "squirrel away" nuts for the "winter" ;-)
