Wierd rusty stain coral glue

Has anyone seen this? I glued this small frag to the plug about a month ago it broke off today and found this strange stain where the glue was applied

I cut frags off the plugs (pop them off when I can) and these orange spots have been seen occasionally, no explaination? I assumed it was possibly a microbe, a sponge, a rust spot from chemical reactions?
