Are any of these able to be accessed via the web for live viewing or is recording the only option. I don't care much about the recording capabilities, I want to be able to view it live on demand an hour from home on my phone, without a subscription. There's no internet access where I would want to view it from. I can access internet through my phone though. I do have internet where the camera would be located.

I've tried 2 different wyze v2 on my tank and both of them freeze and have to be power cycled as soon as my hydra 26s are visible. No idea why. Cameras are now baby monitors

Yes Wyze or Eufy can do that without a subscription. Wyze you can get small clips of recordings for free I think, like 15 seconds. Eufy you have to pay or put an SD card in the camera.

I use a Reolink E1 Zoom - it’s cost a little more than the others mentioned but has better pq, can join 2.4 and 5 ghz, zoom, pan , etc. Log into an app and voila, I’m viewing my tank and the inhabitants.

Yes, all the wifi cams I've used allow you to view your live camera via their apps. As long as your home has wifi/internet for the camera to connect too, and internet access via your phone. you can watch the live stream, take pics, or videos, etc... via the app on your phone, all without a subscription.

Sitting upstairs watching tv, decided to fill the main ATO reservoir from the secondary so watching camera I turned on my pump controlled by a Kasa outlet and now it’s full.

I have a Wyze pan cam that I got from chewy so I could spy on my cat when we stopped working from home. We still haven’t stopped working from home lol. Now it is next to my tank so I can see in the tank and pan around to see the rest of the room and my cat as well.

I like it fine. But one thing that made me furious a few months ago was after the app upgraded I kept getting an error message at login. I went through endless back and forth with customer service and they were unable to help, and eventually just started ignoring me. I complained via the App Store and was ignored. So I finally reported them to apple for fraud. That moved the needle and now they have the app updated so you can reset your password on the login screen — that wasn’t possible before. I was finally able to login by resetting my password, and now my camera is functional again.

Let’s see some recommended webcam captures without edits under full blues during the day! Reviews are one thing, seeing the real thing is another. HD is a requirement sure, but white balance is king IMO.

Yeah, the Wyze are 1080P, the eufy's are 2K.
The eufy's are $47 on amazon right now. I paid $39 for mine when they were on sale last year.
