So so hi guys, started some work on the reef scaping, planning my way to so that no equipment not even the wavemakers will try not to make them visible, started with tje back of the tank.Work is being done by texturing expanding foam, got myself a couple of cans from the US of Greatstuff pond foam but as the tank is quite big and coverage of the foam is quite low and keeping in mind I still will have to coat with resin and crushed coral I continued with the less expensive and more covering home depot expansion foam, tjat why you will see two colours in the foam :)

If you notice in this last picture I have tested the resin and crushed coral, on the black foam it came darker the covering making it more natural and almost the same colour as the diy rocks I made, wheres on the yellow foam the same crushed coral came more sandy type, so today when I went to the shop I bought resin and hardner with black pigment so that when I paint the whole background it will look black and the aquascape will be more realistic obviously it will be painted with black resin and crushed coral will be sprinkled, to catch up with what I am aaying the test is in the center of the picture :)

Very nice man! Awesome to see you taking so much time to build this up like you want it! Great custom setup... I am sure when all is said and done, you will pretty much live in there.

So so guys some more progress with the tank, after finishing the foaming and texturing the aquascaping, resin with black pigment was added plus sand.Today me and my friend CHARLIE which I would like to say a big thanks, set up the background and sides to the tank all sealed up amd sanded ;) next step to do is start filling up the reservoirs, with Ro water, the waste water will be used to fill the tank to check dor leaks in plumbing, the tank itself and most importantly to rinse all the aquscape from any remaining residues, I am timing this to run the water on freshwater for 2 months to be safe and sound. Now pls enjoy some usual pics, they are taken with my phone so sorry for maybe the poor quality and for sure the detail in the rocks dont do a good justice cause seeing it life is a totally different experiance but I will let you to judge as usual :)
