Notice the wave pumps which were neatly hidden behind the aquascaping but still would have easy access.

Rocwork was not put directly to the bottom glass, instead jablo legs resined with sand were put in place and rocks were put above on them.

Following that's going to be a awesome tank. I would rethink about the power heads though.

Thanks Mike007, about the wave makers I dont think it should cause any problems as I will still be able to have directional flow and ease of usage and maintenance as got ample space around them, plus the pump surroundings will have flow around them, but please highlight me of any difficulties you think I may encounter and thanks for the enquiry

I recently added the Maxspect gyro to my tank and the flow Is a lot better than the mp 40's. Something to consider.

Thanks will have a try with the freshwater trial, then will decide what are the drawbacks, from reviews I saw on the mp40s they said are quite powerfull, will have a try, but its good to know there are good alternatives and thanks for the suggestions mike007 ;)

Hi guys just a quick link on a video i took a couple of days ago,the tank was filled up with fresh water (waste water from the ro while producing the water i am going to use later on),the tank was checked for leaks from the pipes and glass, only two little leaks :( from return lines but all fixed up,yesterday added the sand as well to let it rinse up as well to have peace of mind when filling the tank with sea water mix,all seems of for now.Hope you enjoy the video boys and gals, and have A HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR with lots of Love and Peace :)

Happy new year guys to all ;) Some more work done to the setup, rinsing of all and freshwater testing going on, true long time but better now than a future problem, installed the mini-room thermometer with the extraction, set to a specific temperature and on the fan goes, also made my plugs more waterproof and more wire tidy, also waiting for my lights units ordered this christmas as my present :) so still need to tidy more the wire work, but till now happy with what is shaping up and working, even inside tank with flow and everything, hope you enjoyed the video in the previous post and here are a couple more pics of the recent works.

.Hope you enjoy the video boys and gals, and have A HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR with lots of Love and Peace

It been a while that I checked out your build but it came together really nice!
Try to do your vid but the link says that vid is private.
Looking forward to the progress of cycling and socking it up.
My ears came to hear that there will be or there might already be a ReefRaft Germany.

Btw, this would be nice for R2R to be head of other forums to have International or outside our borders build threat forum???
It sure will make the new Digital Magazine https://www.reef2reef.com/blog/ once it will be up and running and stocked.

Hi Diesel nice talking to you again, about the video it is sorted out was a problem with youtube as it changed the privacy option again, but should be ok now, and would be my pleasure giving my info to the new Digital magazine which by the way I found it a lot interesting, nice and great job to R2R :)

So hello guys back for some action, continued my tank installed top glass panes (crystal glass) yes I know they cause some light distraction but I will try to mostly clean every other day as I dont want any fish flying around and snails hitchhiking on the tank border, and last wednesday my lights came home, I opted for the CTLITE Reef Leds or also known Intellisun, and I truly think I made a good choice as from the work I have done today after the hanging over the tank I have to say they are of some good quality silent fans and professional built, the people of the company are also super helpfull and very caring, well as for the lights I have 5 x 90w pods which as already stated are of sturdy built and durable material. They come with hanging kits and controller also and have a quite good spectrum and penetrate quite deep as on full power they are super bright which I hace some real doubt I will ever ise on full power, they have also the possibilty to be connected to the Apex controller by means of an extra bought signal box which I already bought for my next shopping for an Apex system. As already told I made some work so that the units were hanged together simultaneously so I fabricated an aluminium frame with some easy detachable shickles for easy hanging and take off :)
