So guys this morning had a pencil and paper and started to design the plumbing part for the system just a quick drawing I am not a oc expert would love to do those nice 3d designs but a least I can picture the design, keepung in mind this is just a quick drawing, hope you can understand the basics from the picture and would like some feed back from the pros and will try to make a better design
Hi guys so things begining to shape up and how system will work, in the meantime i started producing my diy liverock, quite some fun now I am in the proccess of drying the rock, shortly enough will begin the rock treatment due to the rock salt and portland cement, one thing I am happy about is that for the first time the rock came super porous and quite light and hard, the receipe I used was 3 pts crushed coral sand, 2 pts portland, 1pt coarse sea salt collected from our local salt pans due that malta is an island it's an old hard job here nowadays, will post some pictires as well hope you enjoy
Selection of live rocks small pieces and some quite large pieces obe think I learned is that the more creative the better and you have to give it quite some time to dry at least 36hrs
