Hi guys,

I caught this Blenny at a seashore, but it doesn't look like any of those in commercial trade.
Anyone know its scientific or common name?
It's currently in quarantined before adding to my 10g tank.

Where did you catch it? That would help to narrow it down.
It is possible it’s a species that gets too large for a 10 gallon.

hard to tell from this pic

but if that first dorsal fin is super pronounced…
it might be a type of rhino blenny.
I suspect it might be a Zebra Blenny, very light zebra patches on head & body after light out

I can’t find much matches, but juvie rhino blenny seems to be a start based on the dorsal fin and overall shape.

I like that thought too. It is a native species, though the head and striping is a bit off.
