I recently came across wild caught Australian lace coral for sale, the particular piece has been in captivity for a few months and was thinking about adding it to my tank. Though from what I've head they're extremely sensitive and I am concerned that it would not do so well in my 8 month old setup, I've kept my water parameters basically the same for the last month and started dosing trace elements last week to keep up with the Lobo colony I got. After not much reading I found that they are a NPS "coral", which wouldn't be an issue as I already do nightly broadcast feeds, though I still am unsure about this piece. Is there anything else I need to know? Is it a bad idea? Would like to hear your thoughts, thanks.

makes me think they are more sensitive than most regarding temps and since they are listed as a "deep" coral I would imagine they want consistent lower temps than a lot of coral.
Don't think I would risk it.

I haven't personally heard of them needing different tempatures, and I do keep my tank around the cooler side 77-78, though there isn't much out there about their care, but I did find an old article by Jake Adams talking about the challenges and difficulty of keeping them, and I did also read that they keep their color after their polyps die.. IF my LFS does get them in I'll check that
