Will an abalone eat my macroalgae?

My lfs got in abalone, I'm having some hair/turf algae since I'm in the ugly stage. I have sea grapes, Red Gracilaria Hayi and red sawblade macroalgaes. Will the abalone also eat these?
 
yeah he’ll eat the hair algae no problem, but once that’s gone he’s probably gonna start on your macros too
sea grapes especially won’t last long, gracilaria might last a bit but not guaranteed
just keep him fed or be ready to move him later 👍
