Will Kalk Kill Chaeto?

I’m considering putting my kalk stirrer reactor back online. I’m running a refugium and the easiest spot to add the return line on my reactor is the section just before the refugium. Will this have any negative effects on the chaeto? Last time I ran it all of my chaeto died but I’m not sure if it was from the Kalk stirrer

You don’t want to add it near the chaeto any more than you want to add it near a coral, but just using limewater/kalkwasser will not kill chaetomorpha.
