Bubble, Bubble,
I recently added a gorgonian frag to my tank. I was surprised with Xenia/Antheian polyps growing from the edge of the frag. I am wondering if I can put a piece of an encrusting or plating coral on the top of the frag, around the base of the gorgonian and if it would cover over the Xenia?

Maybe, but I'd try scraping the xenia off first. May take a few times but usually you can get rid of it if you're persistent. Maybe even cover the area with super glue after scaping it good.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
