Yeah that’s what I was thinking I was concerned for the amount of white light. Would just a mainly blue and little white light work?

The sun is white light.

Are you telling me the sun can't grow coral?

The light will grow softies; shrooms and such. However, the color balance will be very green / brown and not very attractive. It's intended for fresh water.
