Just realised The heater is stuck on 30degress!

i noticed my duncan completly bleached and hasnt open since getting it 4 days ago tested the tank for everything except the temperature i assume it was fine as the heater was rather new!
My loba has started deteriorating the skeleton is starting to show and all the mouths are open or deteriorated im trying to sort the problem anyway today I notice the heater is buggered the temp is reading 30 degrees when it's set to 24 degrees could this be my problem?

Can too much flow distress the loba or tear flesh off it??

Flow, it takes a lot. The temp is your issue. I think I read that corals have a 1-2 degree tolerance, at the upper limit. So yeah. As far as surviving, unlikely. Some will survive but it all depends on exposure length, a quick bath at 30°C meh, 2 days? And it's a cooked medium well...

You may consider a something like an INKBIRD controller going forward, it would have shut the heater off and sent notification.

IMM, All you can do is let the system recover.

This type of scenario is why I have two helios controlling two heaters, with my apex as the failsafe of either of them fail.

I will try and see if any recover!
I've just got home and the loba is completely dead no flesh left on it! not even 12 hours later wow that happened fast

I will defeintly look into getting one of these fail safe switches!
