will my scoly be ok

my clown fish knocked a coral off that landed on my war paint scoly. thankfully it was only barely touching it. but it was enough to hurt it i dont think it has killed it because the affected are is only about a 3rd of its circumfrance. how long will it take to come back and anything i can do to help it.

If you can find the reason why it's dying you may have a 30% chance.

Sorry missed the part of a coral getting knock over and landing on it. I would try an iodine dip to help the tissue.
