I have 2 leopard wrasse (pics below) one I got first and the second maybe a month or 2 later. One turned into the top pic (male) and the other has stayed the same (I assume female) however the now large male chases the other one mercilessly. Just today the small one came out and has been eating and not hiding. They have been together for a good 6 months or more. Both were purchased at about an inch in size and are now about 4” for the male and 2.5-3” for the female. Thoughts? Do I need another female to calm things down or wait it out?

If the smallest fish is not getting skinny then it should work out.
It’s been eating. Like I said they’ve been together for a while now. Just the male isn’t tolerant yet I guess. He’s newly changed. I guess full blown make for a couple months now.

They should be fine. Keep them well fed and your will have a happy pair.
Beautiful fat pair. My harem all sleeps together in a small area of the sand.
