I have a Trigger system crystal 18 sump with a RO 110SSS skimmer. I want to replace the skimmer because there is no way to add a float switch or drain.
The skimmer section is tight, so i am limited. I want to replace it with a Reefer DC 300 w/ controller.
The skimmer section is 11"×10.8".
The simmer specs are 9.1"L x 8.3 or 9.8"L x7.1"
There is a filter sock holder protruding into the area. From the corner of the sump to the most outward point is 5.5" (the red line).
I'm hoping the skimmer shape will allow the skimmer to sit in the sump and clear the sock holder.
What do you guys think?
