120 gallon system with sump. Accidentally grabbed the wrong bottle when misting mangroves this morning and sprayed windex all over in the sump. Was looking into it and supposedly other then the large amount ammonia which should disapate soon enough there is really nothing to worry about. Thinking I may go pick up more carbon later just to be safe. Am I mistaken or should I do anything else?

SC Johnson Windex has a lot of products for glass cleaning. Here is a link to the SDS for them:

Original windex does have ammonium hydroxide in it, but also other compounds.

Rather than using carbon, water changes would be better at diluting any toxins.

T’were me I’d not worry about it. Amount of Windex added is probably quite small and there’s not all that much in it anyhow. FWIW, I always keep a poly filter on hand for precisely these kinds of ‘ooops’ events.

I'd spray the mangroves with lots of water. I'm guessing they might be toast. I would worry less about the tank.
