I've been researching wireless surrounds for my HT setup and really haven't found many solutions. Most are part of a complete solution and I just want to make my current surrounds wireless since I have nice speakers and they probably sound a lot better than the HT in a box solutions. So far the only thing I've really found is Best Buy's house brand. Is anyone here using a wireless setup that uses your speakers and like it?

Listen to Leo La Port (radio )he has a TV guy come on his show and recommends nice stuff with a good price point. This stuff can get to the moon expensive. I like to go the Best Buy in the Magnolia Center and get the left overs especially after Christmas. I have a friend that is in the business but he does the high end stuff.

Thanks for the reply. I've been doing a lot of reading and apparently it doesn't exist at the consumer level. There are some professional solutions but they can get expensive. Main issue is lag, which I kinda of thought would be a big issue. I will just run wires and hope the wife doesn't complain too much.

I couldn't find anything in consumer electronics that is a wireless receiver and has a built in amp to power your own speakers. But I did find this, you would have to buy both the transmitter ($150) and receiver ($100) and then have to get a separate amp to power the speakers and that could get expensive depending on the quality of the amp.
If you're handy, I've hidden wires behind the baseboard moulding.
