Can anybody id this worm? It white, move in both directions, hates light, looks to have antena at head, and appears to have a rudimentary ability to navagate thru the water like a sea snake

It's may be a Dorvilleidae.
 
Oh, swimming.... look up epitoke.
 
If he was struggling, you're right, it wouldn't be an epitoke.

Look for a a couple of little black lines moving around the head, if you see it eating on the glass.
 
Oh ya, I wouldn't worry about it at all.
