In the midst of reviving a fish that was on the brink of dying, I took out some water to transfer him real quick and when I added water back later I added too much to the point that it didnt circulate anymore killing all of my fish except my clowns. This was in my first year :(

Adding a tribal blenny to my sps system.

He picked at everything.
Had to almost drain the entire tank and pull most rock and coral out just to catch him...

Went to work on my litermeter dosing pump, dismantling the roller housing to oil the motor, this released the siphon of my alkalinity two part. This caused a massive amount to dump straight into the tank. The entire tank turned totally white, I couldn't see 3" into the water.

Amazingly nothing was really harmed and it cleared up in about a week.

This made me cringe.

Purchasing a blue linckia star without doing the proper research. I can't believe I did that. Doomed the poor thing.
