Hey everyone, I'm just driving back into the hobby, a friend of mine was selling his innovative marine 14g peninsula for a deal I couldn't say no to. So here we go,
-Innovate marine 14g peninsula w/aps stand.
-AI prime
-Sicce Syncra 1.0 return
-Icecap gyre 1k
-Innovative marine wavelink desktop
-Intank media basket, just running carbon and filter floss at the moment
-Smart ATO micro
-Finnex titanium digital heater
-15lbs of Marco rock
- x2 wifi power strips from Amazon
Tank has been running for just under 2 weeks, last water test still showed ammonia still at 1.0ppm but nitrites were visible on the test so it's heading in the right direction, I've been daily dosing microbe-lift to help it along, will definitely post some pictures as things progress but here's where it's currently at.

Nice rock scape. Looks like the current is cranked up
Between the gyre and the wavelink @100% it's around 2500gph (around 300x turnover) will definitely be reducing those down once the tank gets inhabitants, in the meantime I'm just making sure all the leftover dust from the rocks stays suspended and picked up by the overflow.

Quick update, tank has been running for about a month now, had a light diatom bloom a couple weeks ago which lasted a few days as expected, and has since gone away, started adding some coral that were given to me as test pieces, did a full water check today

You don’t hang about! Fast start there, I’m way behind.

You did well getting 15lb of rock in there and still looking spacey, I could only manage 9lb.

How you find the noise level of the Sicce, mine is quite noticeable in a quiet room, is your totally silent? Just trying to work out if I have a dodgy one, as they claim they are silent.

Yeah man, patience isn't a strong point for me. Kicked the tank off with dry rock and pure ammonia and bacteria, got the salinity stable @ 1.0255-1.026, once the diatoms went away started adding corals, theres 5 acros in there, 3 leptos, 2 favias, 2 montis and an acan frag. My Sicce is dead nuts silent.

Can’t wait to get corals in mine, had the light on for the first time tonight, , looks great, just need some movement in there.

Wow silent! I must have a bad one then as I have tried everything to get it quiet, I have it wrapped in a silicone mat and also hanging from the return tube so not touching anything and it still sounds like a small tractor.

I might get the Sicce 1.0, thought I had the 1.0 but it’s the 0.5, no harm in more flow see if this one is any more quiet.

Just an update, tank has been running for almost 8 weeks, everything is pretty stable so far alk 8.1-8.4, Can 420-440, mag is a touch high at 1450, phosphates are ranging from 0.02-0.04, haven't checked nitrates but they were a touch high a few weeks ago at 10ppm. Now a few pics.
