I got this the other day from a friend. He got it years ago and does not remember what it is. Can anyone Tell what this coral is?

Hard to tell, and not to taker his wrong way but no much growth on a coral that’s been in a system for years, unless it’s a frag from the MC

This looks like either pink chalice or pink ******* chalice

Try a picture with more whites. I would guess a chalice also. Your friend could have just had the wrong environment for it. Make sure you have good stable Alk, Ca, Mg for it.
