It’s not H. bicolor right? Or nigrescens….
 
So yours is interesting, it looks like a female melanurus but I know it's been identified by Hunter as chrysotaenia. Your (now) male doesn't look like a typical chrysotaenia which is interesting.

I missed this one yesterday I was just complaining about missing notifications on another thread :face-with-rolling-eyes: ... females and juveniles are tough... this one is a juvenile H. Chloropterus

Yup, although how juvenile is it as I’ve only ever seen the green juvies in captivity

Broom tail wrasse?
It does have a cool tail if it shows it but I’ve never recommended that fish to anyone lol
