Hi!
I Purchased this fish three months back when the LFS told me this is a tail-spot wrasse, (Halichoeres melanurus). However it seems more like a dusky wrasse when I have gone through some internet pictures. Can you kindly clarify this wrasse ID? Sorry for the hazy pictures.

Is it true that female Halichoeres marginatus will turn into a male if there is no male around in the tank?
Yep! Totally true - all Halichoeres tend to transition without a male :)
