Wrasse in sand bed

Is there any way to coax a wrasse out of the sand bed? I haven’t seen my Christmas wrasse in a day or so and it was healthy swimming eating like a pig and I have no idea why it wouldn’t come out. The last one that I didn’t see came out I never found again.. but that was from a bully fish in another tank. Any ideas?

Leave it. Trying to fish a wrasse out of the sandbed will only stress it out. How long has it been in the tank?
