I want to purchase a wrasse for my tank (75g). I am looking for one that will eat prepared foods but will still do the duty of keeping reef pest under control. I was thinking a six line but am open to all suggestions.

Six lines are good, but they can be mean little guys. You definitely can't keep any other fairies/flashers if you decide to go with a Six Line.

You could look at the yellow/green coris wrasses. They are peaceful as far as I know.

Thanks for the suggestion. Is that a Yellowfin Flasher Wrasse as your avatar? It looks like a pretty cool wrasse, would it fit my needs?

That looks like a carpenter's fairy. Very cool, and not too pushy. Agreed, sixline do tend to get beligerant. Look at the twelve line wrasse, same family, grows even slower. Or look at the Wetmorella possum wrasses; very sedate.
