He doesn’t slow down much. This is about the best I can seem to do.Can you post a more clear picture? I'm having a hard time telling if that's just injury; or possible uronema or a bacterial infection.
It’s kind of an off white. It isn’t red. It isn’t a protrusion tho. Appears like a small chunk was taken out. That’s what made me think that maybe he ran into the rock. I did see the coral banded shrimp grab at him a couple times when he swam near the shrimp’s cave, but I’m not sure if it’s possible for a shrimp to do that.Is it red or white? It looks more white in the photos.

+1Tough call, but I would just monitor + soak his food in vitamins for now: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/vitamins-herbal-remedies.304287/
But if it turns red, be prepared to QT and dose antibiotics: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/antibiotics.283711/
You can also use Ruby Reef Rally in a 90 minute bath or Methylene Blue for 30 minutes en route to QT.
I actually fed them reef frenzy soaked in selcon today. I’ll continue to feed the selcon and keep a close eye on him.Tough call, but I would just monitor + soak his food in vitamins for now: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/vitamins-herbal-remedies.304287/

I actually soaked their food in selcon today because I thought it may be a good idea with that place showing up on him. The tang took no interest in the food which is odd behavior for her. I’ll keep a close eye on them and be prepared to move them to QT if need be. Hopefully I’m just being paranoid with the other tank nightmares I’ve had in the past.Tough call, but I would just monitor + soak his food in vitamins for now: https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/vitamins-herbal-remedies.304287/
