I am going to be running two 72" VHO Super Actinincs so let me know if you have an ICECAP 660 FS. Once I do the Change I will have (3) T5 ballast and endcaps to sell. With the six 60" bulbs. (used 45 days so far)

Old man needs to go old school.. Really is more for the fact that there is no other bulb out there beside LED that can give off the same 420nm color as the Ultra Actinic of the VHO IMHO... I like the fact that the VHO is 72" vs: staggering 4 60" bulbs that just dont give me the same colors at all.

I might be willing to sell mine. I been thinking of swapping ballast for awhile since overdriving the bulbs shortens their life.

Hey Eric,

I've got one you can have if you want it. Only problem is it was on an old fixture that had a bulb that somehow shorted and blew the fuse. I don't know for sure if the ballast still works but I think it just blew the fuse. I also don't have the harness that goes with it. I must have thrown it away with the end caps.

Good to see you're still around, RC Mike. I shut my reef down after a crash ~4 years back, but have been going strong again for the last year and a half.

Yep, still around. I replied to your PM.

Coralvue makes a ballast just like the icecap 660. Actually made by same designer after icecap shut down. Think it's called coralvue 660 if I remember right been a minute since I looked at it.
