Have a Radion XR15 Pro, diffuser, and rms mount on a Reefer 170, looking to move over to the Kessil A360X with mount.

Thanks, you recommend doing one on a Reefer 170? Or just putting it close to the water. I ended up getting an A360X360x with the narrow Reflector blows anything out of the water par wise. Let alone adding to t5 fixture.
Glad I made the switch.

Depends what is in your tank. Your tank is 24x20x20. 360x is meant for 24x24. You can mount it 6-8 inches. Meant to be mounted a little closer than normal due to excellent spread. If you need more par then add narrow Reflector for 3x more par. But it changes your effectice range to 18x18. So as long as your coral is within 3 inches of your glass you'd be fine regardless.
Thanks I was thinking of putting some SPS in the middle near the top. Here's an updated pic, don't mind the green hair outbreak I'm dealing with! Also sorry for the blues
Most sps requires 200-350 par. That looks like 8 inches below the water line. You'll be pushing the one 360x to near 100% to achieve that. See below.

Yea I figured I would be, I just didn't know if I should go with the reflector. It looks like you did some pretty good tests and it may be worth getting since I'd be keeping them in the center. Advice?
Get a par meter, get the reflector or get a Aquatic Life T5 Hybrid fixture to combo up with the 360x. T5 hyrbid is amazing.
