Placed a sizable order with WWC during their holiday promotions. While shopping the website indicated a very specific goal ($300) to unlock free shipping. So as anyone would I stuffed the cart to ensure I cross that theeshold.

A day after the order was placed WWC sent out a marketing email stating that until this order is shipped, I can add more items onto the order at no extra shipping charge. Out of curiosity (and truly interested in a few pieces) I placed a second order. All was good no extra shipping was charged as promised.

Fast forward to today- received an email from WWC stating a shstem error has occurred and that free shipping offer does not apply to sale event- this was not explicit during the sale and was never communicated. Now I am being asked to chip out an additional $40 for this order that I’ve already piled mile high to satisfy the free shipping threshold?

Has anyone else experienced this? I do not like this and find this to be a cheap bait and switch trick that only unethical businesses pull. I sent WWC a string worded email to express my sentiment. And now considering reporting this to FTC, FCC and the BBB…
