I dont think it is, but a buddy says it might be. What do you guys think ?

didnt you just make an identical thread a few hours ago? its difficult to tell from your pics.
 
If you did not get it from WWC or with lineage back to WWC, then it is not the WWC Yellow Tip - no lineage, then no name. There are many different types of A. Austera (often referred to as tort), so you could have one of those.

All of that said, that does not look like Yellow Tip Austera to me.

Doesnt look like one to me either, just wanted to clarify it with my buddy, I dont care about lineage, just as long as it looks good in my tank.

Most reefers dont care about lineage but you also cant call it "xxx abc" without knowing if it truly that coral. Theres tons of corals that may be the same coral but for the hobbyists looking for a certain coral this is the easiest way to keep track. Happy reefing!
