Will Xenia rob a tank of nutrients if allowed to grow out large? I read that in another post on another forum but that sounds like crap to me. Dad had a bunch in his 180 that just disappeared one day. Just trying to make sure these dudes won’t rob my tank of all nutrients and kill my Zoa collection.

To a certain extent yes. It can lower nitrates which is why some people keep it in the sump instead of macros.

I know that they lower nitrates I’m wondering if they can lower them to the point that it kills other tank inhabitants
It’s possible over time. You would likely start to see other issues first like algae
