Theres Lps that like light and honestly XR15 wont provide the sufficient Like and coverage for that tankSay i did go ahead and buy the xr30s? Do you think that its over kill just for lps and softies? Seems like they might make the most sense after reading all these comments.
This is true the issue is , once the tank it going fine we want SPS so badlyI think its overkill but then again, I'm the only one that asked you what you were planning on keeping.![]()

Full tank shot .... a picture of your tanksorry what is fts ? lol
It's not overkill. I'd rather have the option of turning down the XR30s than to have the XR15s maxed out and not be able to go any farther.I think its overkill but then again, I'm the only one that asked you what you were planning on keeping.![]()
Not to derail the OPs thread, but what tank is that?
But he's happy with the Primes and the XR15s are an upgrade for sure. Even more so if he gets the XR15's down to 9" instead of 1' mounting. Especially when going to XR30 is $1K more. It's not overkill. I'd rather have the option of turning down the XR30s than to have the XR15s maxed out and not be able to go any farther.

, my apologies.
That's going to be my next purchase and make it a frag tank. I'm setting up a custom Glasscages right now. 48x24x20. Kind of middle ground between 'shallow' and a normal 24" deep.Waterbox 125.4

You need a Snickers bar brother? Hangry?I'm just cranky this morning, my apologies.
That's what R2R is for my friend. It's to have conversation, talk about things, bounce ideas off each other, share and gather information and <drum roll> make great acquaintances...

Helps to even out coverage and reduce shadowing as well. Tank looks great BTWI run 4 XR15 G6 pros on a Red Sea P500. My par ranges 150 on sand bed up to 500 at top of rocks. They have the best optics on the market with color blend in my opinion. I’m growing everything in a mixed reef and coralline everywhere. I was running 3 of them for a while but adding the 4th really shot those par numbers up.
