Another salinity probe issue. Replaced my old probe with a new one and I’m having issues with it reading correctly. I’m hoping somebody will be able to point in a direction I haven’t already been. Here’s what I’ve done so far.
*New probe
* waited a week to calibrate (break-in procedure???)
*calibrated with 53,000 micro Siemens
*tried manual and automatic calibration.
*disabled probe, disconnected probe, reconnected probe and re enabled probe
* checked for bubbles.
Here’s the issue, when it’s in the tank it reads 31.8 when I pull it from the tank and stick it back in the calibration solution, it reads 34.9 I’ve re routed the wire to ensure it’s not getting any “cross talk” from another wire. Any additional advice would be greatly appreciated.
