Yellow Assesor

Just recently got a yellow assesor. All it does is swim upside down in a little cave. Every once in a while he will got through the rocks, but always stays upside down. Is this normal? Will he eventually swim in the open more and right side up?

That's what's so cool about these fish! Sometimes they swim right side up but lots of the time they'll be perfectly happy upside down. Perfectly normal for these fish.

Thanks. Good to know. It is pretty cool and the kids love it. Just double checking it always being upside down was normal.

Yes, one of the main reasons I bought one is because of the unique swim behavior but mine spends most of the day in the rocks and comes out after the lights go out.
