Hello all.
Wondering if I could get some assistance.
I have a wrasse with white patches (no spots), yawning and flashing.
I have finished my third round of Prazipond plus.
The white patches are still there.
One side has larger patches like 1/4" and smaller patches.
There are no small sugar or salt size spots.
None of the other fish have patches or spots.
My lawnmower blenny flashes once in a while but not near as often.
I have a fish trap in my tank which they will not go near...go figure.

Do you think they maybe prazi resistant flukes?
I can't catch em for the life of me though I'll keep trying.

The yawning is an indicative sign of flukes IME.

Can you get fenbendazole? https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/fenbendazole.640230/

Unfortunately I can't. All the LFS shelves for meds are bare in Canada.
I had the Prazi from a few years ago.
I have metro and kana from before they pulled meds from the shelves.
We can't even get metro or kanaplex anymore, just Focus.
I'm trying to catch him to do a freshwater dip.

Were you ever able to confirm for sure this was flukes? I have a yellow coris wrasse with very similar issues. The spots on mine seem larger than yours. It almost looks a bit dusty. My wrasse is flashing on the sand...but now yawning. He is eating and seems perfectly happy, so I am a bit confused. Please see attached images. Anyone with advice would be greatly appreciated. Could it be flukes? Could it be bacterial? I just want to make sure it isn't something much worse like brook or velvet...and if so, treat accordingly.

Bump @jtermini what happened after this as I've got a coris wrasse that like to flash easting well and swimming actively but these white patches are beginning to bug me now I've done like 3 rounds of prazi and it's can't be fluke I'm so confused

Hi, each case can be a bit different. Feel free to start your own thread or add on to this one. This post explains the information we need to try a diagnosis:

Freshwater filter only or is it? Have you ever used an HOB filter on a saltwater tank?
